I guess a lot of you guys have seen the '69 440 Barracuda I run in Stock but we just started running this new 2003 Stratus in SS. It's got a '78 360 under the hood. We need to get some HP taken off the combo to be more competitive but I thought y'all might like to see it. Had a small block pro stock truck motor in it that ran 8.0's. I'm still getting used to the cramped 7.50 spec cage and long low fronted but i hope to start clicking with the car in Noble. We are still chasing some e.t. that we need to find to be competitive in heads up races and still switching the car over from being almost a pro stock car to a GT setup. I'm glad you guys like it! If you guys ever see me at a track near you come up and say hi. Does the new car have a 904? How is it geared? Did you purchase the W-8 motor with the new car? What became of it?

It does has a 904 and a 5.27 gear I believe. Sorry I missed you. I drove pretty poorly first round in both classes and was probably somewhere feeling sorry for myself. I'm guessing Sonny and Lloyd want to concentrate on their SS hemi program. Congrats on the new car, I'm sure its in good hands! Gary Moore was running the 1962 383/343HP combo in his Barracuda at Ennis a couple of weeks ago. Gibbs had 305HP on the sticker on his SS Dart (flat hood). I think he was running the 5.7L Hemi. Hood was closed on both cars and I didn't see either one when I walked through the pits.
