I have a bob weight of 2432, H beam Manley rods that are 6.965 long and weigh 910 grams. I have run mine through the lights many passes as 7800 with a 4.15 stroke in a Megablock. So if you have good parts the rotating assembly should be good.
I would be most worried about the stock block. Try going through at 6800 and if it doesn't slow down much or at all, you know you have reached the limits of the rpm you need to run for best ET. I would base my rpm choice on my budget with this deal. The risk rises with the square of the rpm
