bobweight 2509 grams Stock 3.75 stroke and stock block 440 .060 steel caps steel rod 276@050 349 cfm heads, roller 675 hp this is not a matched engine with this cam like I would prefer it but what yall think the rpm limits you would take it up to in a pass?

I have run it up to 7000 and of course its still pulling hard. but now I am starting to sweat taking it any further up the rpm range for the eclipse of a 9 second pass.
it ran 10.0 last sunday

I have a bob weight of 2432, H beam Manley rods that are 6.965 long and weigh 910 grams. I have run mine through the lights many passes as 7800 with a 4.15 stroke in a Megablock. So if you have good parts the rotating assembly should be good.
I would be most worried about the stock block. Try going through at 6800 and if it doesn't slow down much or at all, you know you have reached the limits of the rpm you need to run for best ET. I would base my rpm choice on my budget with this deal. The risk rises with the square of the rpm

I believe the stock lube system gets marginal around 7k. If it is modified/improved, it can take more. If you are not sure, suggest not going any higher.

I run a single line external, so I still see the block as the limit.
