Changing back glass on my 72 a Body. Bought a new w/strip from Classic industries but it is too large for application (correct style)
It fits the the opening of rear window if you beat in the bulges but after a half day of trying to install it no go. Again the the w/strip basically hangs loose on the glass itself. Incorrect made W/strip or something I'm doing wrong. Application 72 A body Demon......Thanks for any help.

I rebuilt everything on my car myself including engine, body and paint- and the two things I had someone who knew what they were doing take care of was the headliner and glass install.
My advice is to hire someone who knows. It also may not be possible to install correctly with the weatherstrip you have- a professional will tell you.

I installed glass in that "era" of vehicles.. I do not remember what type of install you have ( glue in vs gasket) but based on your post here sounds like its a gasket set.. If so you either have the wrong gasket or you need to take the job to a pro..

Depending on the gasket style, you install the gasket on the car THEN you set the glass into the gasket.. OR you install the gasket on the glass then install this assembly ( glass and gasket) into the car..
