Anyone know the length of flywheel attaching bolts? I need a set, and have found some applications call for a 1/2 long bolt. Doesnt seem long enough to me and I am thinking that is for an auto flex plate.
Summit shows them with a small shoulder, but doesnt give a length and they look just like the 1/2 long ones at NAPA.
Thanks, Doc.
I used to care but....... things have changed

The issue you are having stems from GM and others referring to their automatic ringgear/flexplates as "flywheels". The ones I have here have 7/8" of thread.
Last aftermarket ones I got were found under a Pontiac application, I believe, as we couldn't find anything Mopar for these in the (I believe) Mr. Gasket catalog. If memory serves, they should actually be 7/16NF...not 1/2".
Hope that helps...
