Is there a solution. The Guides for the upper control arm Cam bolts on my 1977 D100 are done for.

What do you mean by guides? If you are talking about the offset washers you get them at the parts store. If you are talking about the bracket attached to frame I think you're hosed.

If you could get the right measurements off the old pieces and then grind them down and weld a pair of metal strips in their place. It should work.

I've made a few sets over the years, they are not that difficult to make copies of and get them welded on. If a hack like me can do it, anyone with a little fabrication skills should be able to do it as well. its a pita place to work, but its doable. Gene

I don't know if this will apply to the front, but on the rear of my 73 when the spring perches were shot I ground the rivets, knocked them out and replaced the whole bracket assembly with a good one using grade 8 bolts. I can't remember if this would be an option on the front.
