Thursday started out bad, some people that got there wed night unhooked tow vehicles and went to hotel. Others that arrived behind them stayed in line. And guess what? When gates opened, people that unhooked wed night and went to hotel, couldn't get to their trailers to hook up. What a bunch of ..... Then on sat after 1st round, track personnel decided timing increments were not right. Someone at indy decided to change some stuff during week, after they had paid to have everything set up for u s nationals. Guess what they did? Decided to start over. After half were eliminated and most of them went home. I have been to indy to division finals 5-6 times, and never have seen the amount of stupidity that went on this weekend. WOW. Is it just indy?

They were told the timing system was not right Friday afternoon !! The track officials and the NHRA people told us they have been doing this for 20 some years and they would know if the system wasn't right.. Throwing out the whole first round for Pro was crap. Bracket Finals need to be moved to another location after that.

I was there. No fun winning that first round and then finding out it was all for naught and you have to run first round again the next day!

Not sure how else they could have done it though other than not having the problem in the first place.

Did they end up finishing the Div 3 Finals yesterday after all that for Friday and Saturday?

Getting ready to leave for Div. 7 Finals Friday at Famoso and this year I read that they are having buybacks 1st round? Guess somebody wants more money in there pocket.

The first few years in Div 5, since it's big, with alot of cars, it was divided into east and west. The first year it was combined into one, it took 8 hours to get through tech. The gamblers race on Saturday, was suspended after 1 round, as the track, Topeka, had a curfew. Last ET Finals for me. Just too NHRA for me.

Same thing happened in Atlanta last year,nhra brought in there own system and had to rerun pro also, it gave the track a bad name which wasn't the track's issue.

This year Division One cut the number of cars each track sends to 32 it used to be over 40 and each track breaks down what classes they come from. There are always alternates due to some tracks not filling there teams. I am leaving Thursday for the Finals at U.S. 13 in Delaware competing in Street for Team Island Dragway as I got in by the skin of my teeth. ( one more round Win than the guy behind me in points). I hope we don`t have the same problems.

Congrats to Eric Paul who made it to the 5th round, tough loss on a .002 breakout and a better light with 14 cars remaining.
