It’s time to bleed my power disk brakes for the first time since re-assembly. I bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it which went fine. I figured I could open the bleeder screws and let it gravity feed a while as I worked on other things but no luck.
I had my brake booster rebuilt as well, but noticed when I pump the pedal the master cylinder fluid does not react. I know there is not a direct connection to the master cylinder pushrod with the booster. Do I need to pull vacuum on the booster before I can pump the pedal ? I also tried to use a vacuum pump to pull fluid but I get nothing? Am I missing something? the last resto I did was an e-body with manual brakes, that was a piece of cake. Here is a picture of the booster if that makes a difference.

Are you using a KH distribution/proportioner/hold off set up? If so it is slow to get fluid. I did the vacuum pull on the rear, but had to have some one help with pressing the brake petal and bleeding the old fashion way. I did all four that way.

Also check fitting for leaks. If no fluid going anywhere that would be weird unless you have a blockage, or something not right with Master Cylinder and Booster set up. G

Make sure the rod in the master is adjusted correct also.Too tight and brakes drag, too much clearance and pedal low or none.Rocky

That's a sign that the booster pushrod is adjusted too long, the rear reservoir should show a burble on the surface of the fluid as the pedal is first depressed.

Actually, there is a continuous connection through the booster between the pedal and the MC pushrod.
