Need to get a windshield gasket for my 67 Belvedere wagon. Steele has it for approx $200 and Van's has it for approx $100.
I know Steele is known for its quality products but is it really worth twice the cost. Was wondering if anyone has ordered a windshield gasket from Van's and what the results were.

Ok

I would STRICKLY GUESS that the 200 dollar one is an OE NOS item and the 100 dollar one is an aftermarket repro, Just me I would get the 100 dollar one and properly (clean windshield perimeter/clean the metal frame channel/even gasket swath) do the install. Not sure if the hardening or the non hardening gasket sealer is the way to go. My auto body supply shop only had the non hardening the last time I was in there for windshield install materials. Here's a BTT for ya
