hi, just have a quick question.would a 600 cfm holley be to small to use on a stock 1970 road runner with 383 and auto,thanks

For a DD it'd be fine. For spirited driving especially if your eng/setup is anything more than bone stock I'd want a bit more & I'd suggest one of the holley clones with the adjustable systems (air bleeds etc) so you can fine tune it to the max. I did have an Eddy 1406 (600 CFM) on a 440 in a C boat (350 horse) & it was fine as a DD (came with it). If you currently have the 600 I would use it and if you are making a new purchase I would consider something else

I have a Holley LIST #1850, universal 600 CFM vacume secondary, on my 1969 Dart with a mild 1971 Cuda 383 motor in it. That carb needed some jetting but it works great on that car It is a pump gas car, 4 speed with 3.91 gears and short tires so keep that in mind.
