I know.......dozens of them.
But with an AlterKtion front end and a specific idea of where I want things set , I am not feeling good about the people I have talked to.
Any ideas ?

I realize this isn't St.Paul but it's relatively close:
Automobile Service Co
5708 W 35 1/2 St
St Louis Park, MN 55416
My dad swore by them since I was a kid (close to 50 years). They have never done me or my family wrong.
I know a few people who also like Hoover Wheel Alignment. They have a few different locations around the cities.

Good luck, hope you get it worked out!

I'm a little out of the way..... but I'd help you out! Honestly any alignment guy will LOVE the Alterkation front end over some wore out sloppy original rust bucket mopar. While I'm not completely "up" on the alter K, I'm betting the adjustment range is broad enough to set it up to a "T"

My . Buy a caster/camber gauge and learn to do it yourself. You built the car, you know what you want. It is not rocket science.

Do you have a suggested type/style/brand Rod? I've seen quite a few gauge sets for sale with lots of price variation. I wouldn't mind being able to do this at home quick rather than haul my car to work.

Jay I have been using one of these for a few years with good results.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sps-91000/overview/

For toe I like to spin the tire and scibe a line then measure with a tape measure or a trammel and a ruler.

I have a buddies turn plates that make it easier, but 2 pieces of sheet metal used as slip plates works ok.

Make sure your car work area is flat and level. I use chaulk to mark a square around each tire to mark the location. Then roll the car back out of the way. Find the highest corner with a laser level or water level and shim up the other 3 locations to match if needed.

On my garage floor thoose 4 spots are marked out, and also used for scale locations. A note on the wall has how much shim is needed at each corner.

Being that all my stuff is strut front I use a digital
inclineometer and a straight edges and tape for toe..
I clamp the 2 straight edges to the rotor with as much
past the rotor (front and rear) as possible to get
the toe reading .. the camber and caster is easy
with struts

Andover Wheel and Alignment. Hanson & Bunker.
They do a lot of Street Rods and Race Cars.
Only one to touch my car.

For DIY, I bought one of these ($39):

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/1934/Caster_Camber_Gauges

And I bought a big long toe gauge from harbor freight website.

Using that stuff, I did it myself. It was VERY easy and that was my first time even trying it. I know the measurements checked out fine.. but when I got it out on the road I was surprised how dead on it was. Definitely not rocket science.. I'd never take an old car to a shop now that I know how easily it can be done at home.

It's been a while. I know I made some slip plates (masonite squares with wheel grease between them), but I think I ended up jouncing the car and rolling it back and forth to "reset" things after making adjustments. Can't remember.

Is Racecraft Inc somewhat close? I can't remember where they are in MN.... Warren Johnson has a cousin that used to work for him in Duluth lol taught my cousin's shop classes in school.

Bob Fuller ? I think he is C&F Racecraft.
He's up Ramsey way.......about 30 miles north of me.
You guys have me nearly convinced to try this myself now.
I am going to consult with a friend , and might just go that way.

If you havent done it yet, you should do a toe curve
check on the front end... you can read how to do it
in the MP chassis manual... you dont ever want the
front end going toe out during the vertical movement
or the car will tend to dart around
