You should rightfully be proud of how your car runs, you have done a fantastic job with it Met a guy last Fri night at a cruise in that kinda reminded me of you..... Lol Has a 78 Fairmont that looks bone stock with lots of patina. Has a1998 short block from an Explorer Factory small block in it with 160, 000 miles on it he put aftermarket aluminum heads on, 8.8 rear, and a turbo( forget which one it was, he bought it off ebay for 700 bucks he said) and with 13 pounds of boost it runs mid 10's. He won't twist it harder as he is afraid of it grenading.... Lol...... I run the same tire, about 80# more weight, certainly less power and I have to drop down to 15 psi on a hot track to keep traction. That seems low to me. 1979 AMC Spirit, NHRA Q/SA
