I am getting ready to mount my SS spring in an E-body. Aside from the ride height, those of you who have tried their SS mounted in both top and bottom positions on the front spring hanger, what was your experience in how the car reacted?

Why not try them both on your car? No two cars are identicle

With my car, I've learned that having the front spring segment as close to parallel with the ground works best. That means the bottom hole.

68LAR,

Thanks for the "firsthand" feedback. When you says "works best" do you mean it 60'/quarter mile quicker or the handling/ride quality or ??

Just curious, do you recall how much your pinion angle changed when you switched between the top and bottom?

60'and with that, my 1/4 mile times dropped as well.
Pinion angle changes by 1 1/2*, with my set up.
