What's the fastest and easiest way to lower the rear 3 inches?

I've got two sets of van lower control arms to do the front.....

2"with the Chevy lowering shackles. Flip the front leaf spring hangers for another 2" I believe.

On this page you'll see the Chebby shackles we used on our D100 and the issues involved. May or may not be an issue for you on your RC - depending on bushing sizes:

i used chevy shackles, and then got my leaf springs rearched to fix my dodge lean, and get it sitting lower. Between the chevy shackles, and getting my springs reworked, the truck rides great, and sits level.

On the rear shackles, the later Chevy ones will get you metric size holes, I have a set and decided not to use them for that reason.

I had my leaf springs de-arched instead.

I think, however, that the earlier, early '70s GM stuff used the american, sized standard bolt sizes, same as Dodge.

But, I didn't buy any just to look at the holes ...

Only guessing, but probably '70 - 72? would do the job, and also thinking the '73-87, same same.

Either of these are only going to get you about 2" though.
