I forgot about them for quite a while. They seem like a good choice because they use a shelf rotor and caliper. I just can't tie myself into a rear rotor that has to be a redrilled piece to fit.

My questions are:

Is the 11.75" rotor a solid or vented piece?
They refer to it as a full sized rotor, is that full sized car? Whay ford application would that be?

Are there good pads available for the ram caliper?

How balanced will the 11.75 rotors be with the same size up front with a viper caliper? Is it as simple as just running a way less aggressive pad in the rear?

I don't know about Scarebird's rear kit but people seem to like their front A-body kit for sbp. Dr Diff also uses off the shelf rotors for the rears.

I started with them on my Satellite with the Viper calipers up front.

I took them off because I could never get the bias where I liked it and that was with a couple different pads. Not sure if it's just not a good mix between piston sizes, but I didn't care for them at all and switched to the Dr Diff Cobra stuff.

I believe the rear kit uses an 11¼" Ford rotor. You can order these cross drilled and slotted. I run this bracket, but slightly modified it for it to fit a Wilwood aluminum metric caliper. Works good or me. No e-brake.

I'd prefer Doc Diff's setup because he can provide the parking brake cables to fit your application, with the Scarebird you have to scare up (pun intended) your own and that's often not as easy as it sounds.

Does the dr diff 11 3/4' cobra setup fit under 15" wheels?

If his 11.75" front rotors could, I don't see why his rears couldn't...

If someone has a 15" wheel near me, I could test fit one.

Psssst....next time put a rag on top of the jack stand so you don't scratch up the new diff paint.

My 11.7" rear disc brakes fit a few 15" wheels.

I normally recommend my 10.7" version for use with 15" wheels.

Do they both use the same caliper?

The guy who built my carrier painted it for me and already scratched it before I picked it up. But good tip. I just need to buy more rags. I was planning on sanding it down a little and spraying over it when I was ready to put it in.

General Rule of Thumb is that the max rotor OD for any given wheel size is 3" smaller than the wheel. So 12" rotor in a 15" wheel, 13" rotor in a 16" wheel, etc. Can sometimes sneak a slightly larger rotor in, but it can get tricky.
Caliper to wheel clearance is a different critter and will depend on the specific wheel and the specific caliper.

Yes. My 11.7" rear brakes do not fit all 15" wheels because the rotor is fairly flat. This limits caliper clearance.
