I have a strange request. I need to know how long the lap seat belts need to be for a 74 Charger with bucket seats and console. I had mine restored and the lap belts were made too short. It would be great if I could get someone with a 74 Charger to measure theirs for me. If you're willing to help I would need the total extended length from the plastic retractor cover to the chrome latch.

I have 74 Charger seat belts - I don't know if they came out of a bucket seat or bench seat Charger. The 74 had the shoulder belt that went through a plastic eye attached to the upper window frame. The lap belt measures about 48 inches from the plastic retractor cover outlet to the chrome latch. The shoulder belt measures about 82 to 84 inches from retractor to chrome latch. I hope this helps some.

I have a 74 SE with the buddy seat, should be the same as the console set up. I'll measure it and get back to you in a little while.

Mine are 72" from the retractor in the side to the buckle and 42" from the floor mounted retractor to the buckle when fully extended. Hope this helps.
