I put a high rise intake on my 360 in my 1970 Dart. I want to use my MP air cleaner. With the stock filter it is hitting the hood. I need to find a 1-1 1/2 IN. filter. I went to NAPA he could not find one in 13 in. diameter that skinny. Thanks for your help

You do not want to change to a 1.5" tall filter.

Ford Motorsport sells a drop base air cleaner still , saw one in Pepboys the other day , it's 13" and the air filter is the same as what I assume you are using is the MP unsilenced air cleaner.

The ford motorsport unit is the ticket then , you will choke off air to the engine wit ha 1.5" filter in that housing , then there will be clearnce issue to your carb possibly. I got one of those air cleaner bases so I could run a TRUE 3" filter element in the unit on an RPM intake.

Ok I will look in to the Ford Drop base. The intake I used is also a RPM. Thanks
