The hot rod buyer has asked me to source the goods necessary to install power steering on the hot rod.
The engine is a 1972 440 with a factory damper. How hard is it to find the non-A/C power steering pump brackets?
I have a collection of crank pulleys so one of those should line up.

The power steering pump brackets are being reproduced and are readily available for the saginaw pump. 440source sells complete kits as well as many others like year one, classic industries, Many of the Mopar specific vendors that advertise here sell the also.

Thanks.

I never had to shop for such luxuries before.

I got mine from 440Source and they look terrific but the 3/8 square was a little too tight for my ratchet so I had a slightly more difficult time tightening the belt.

If you look closely you will see a little square. I am 99% sure that is where you would insert a 3/8 ratchet and crank it up to put tension on the belt. Well, the square was too tight so either I have no idea what that square is for or they made it too small.

It's really not a big deal and I would buy them again.

Astjp2, that is exactly what I was saying to myself as I was trying to tighten up the belt.
