I have to put a vacuum pump on my GTX. Any suggestion who be appreciated on which is the best I am looking for something compacted I would like to install it under the hood I think there enough room under the battery box.

I'll assume it's for power brakes?...if so I've used the SSBC vacuum pump pn#28146, any pump is going to an eye sore under the hood...I've mounted them inside the drivers front fender behind the headlight area, and brought the lines in under the battery tray for a clean appearance, be sure to rubber isolate it as much as possible as they can be rather noisy ...expect to spend approx. $250-$350 for a quality pump

Late model minivans have them from the factory, a trip to the bone yard may get you one cheap.

I have a George S. Thompson vac pump to run everything except the power brakes on my 71 B body. I mounted it on rubber isolators under the battery tray. It's unseen and works just fine. It runs all my HVAC system. It's controlled by a micro switch that I built into the stock dash controls.
