I'll soon be replacing my suspension and steering link components on my '71 B-Body and I'm not sure what tools I really need. I see all types of kits and individual pieces, but what do I really need?
Thanks,
Jim

You'll need a socket to change the top ball joints and I have a pickle wrench I use to get the tie rods undone and you'll need a good press to change the other bushings. Good Luck! Ronnie in Okla.

There are 3, I believe, ball joint sockets for Mopars...early A (small), later A/B/C/E (medium), and D (truck/large).

Check out Mancini. They have the best price I have seen so far on the suspension kits.
They will sell the socket size you need based upon the year and type of the car. (you definitely want to use the socket)
The pickle fork makes life easier and you may be able to borrow it from a local auto parts store.
The control arm bushings can be done with the tools sold if you don't have a shop press.
