The link is definitely faster for the number of pics you're posting though.. I'll give 'ya that.

LOL, Rick...that all seems like ages ago. I always HATED this board...not the site...just the panel.
I like VB alot better...more user friendly.
I've decided to come out of semi retirement cause I'm gettin old and there is still a lot of stuff I wanna buy....LOL.
Good to hear from you Rick as you are one of the originals like Rich,John and Roger that started way back when there was not squat available repro wise for these cars.

Jim Ridge did mine.

FANTASTIC workmanship! Worth every penny I paid.
Excellent customer service too...

Got me a NEW Project
1970 GTX 440+6, 4 spd, 4.10 Dana and N96 FE5 (top/bottom) and black bucket interior.
Original transmission and Dana - Engine is a service replacement block.

Body has all stamped #s + VIN/TRIM tag and door sticker. Been hunting like all hell to find the Build Sheet.

garage find, only had 41,850 miles on ODO.

If someone was rebuilding an alternator and wanted to be as close to factory specs, I cannot imagine why anyone would use anyone other than Jim Ridge with Dixie Restorations.

Much appreciate the support our business gets from Moparts.com. We are beginning our 6th year in the alternator and starter restoration business mostly because of referrals from this website. Like any other restoration business we have progressed with our techniques as my partner and I learn from viewing a greater sample of original unrestored pieces. The finish to the cases has evolved somewhat and we are now able to closely match the original NOS - or in some cases - the assembly line finish. We digitally photograph the original core and then try to mimic the final finish of the customers piece. We pride ourselves on the small details. Like most niche businesses here there are choices. That's good for any market be it car parts or grocery stores. We are more than happy to talk with anybody that has question or wants to see additional pictures of our work.Jim Ridge/Thomas Livingston - Dixie Restorations (803) 924-6247
