Much appreciate the support our business gets from Moparts.com. We are beginning our 6th year in the alternator and starter restoration business mostly because of referrals from this website. Like any other restoration business we have progressed with our techniques as my partner and I learn from viewing a greater sample of original unrestored pieces. The finish to the cases has evolved somewhat and we are now able to closely match the original NOS - or in some cases - the assembly line finish. We digitally photograph the original core and then try to mimic the final finish of the customers piece. We pride ourselves on the small details. Like most niche businesses here there are choices.
