Please post pictures of restored 8 3/4 rearends with factory markings. I'm looking for the markings for a 3:23 peg leg. I found a B on the back of mine. Thanks

Wow !! That "B" looks like it was written by the same guy. Wonder how close those to cars' serial number and SPD's are. Quickshft 8.75 looks like it's got tons of markings on it, including dropping a can of blue paint on top of the center section.
Does that center section almost look painted black??

My Road Runner was built in Sept.1970 in StLouis I believe. vin starts RM23N1G. I did see the B's looked very similar. I had a yellow N on the side of the carrier housing,but no other marks visible.

the guy that did the b must of worked there long time lol i have a orignal housing that came out of a 69 road runner and if you stood it up with the driver side down it has a big b (done just like the others) in yellow on the center section and a 3 inch tall or so number 3 done in white on the flare section of the passenger tube
