I have the same one I bought back in 2005, main thing is wiring and buy "radio noise filter" it is actually a voltage filter (capacitor) and prevents voltage spikes from hurting the box.

I had one for a little while. Hooks up just as easily as the old 6AL and has a lot of nice features. My only complaint was a high speed misfire that wouldn't go away no matter what I tried. Put my old 6AL back on it and no problems. That was 10 years ago...still running the same old 6AL.

Had a digital 6 mounted in my old car under the hood on the driver side for about 5 years with zero issues, new owner had now had it 5 years still running it
