I can find the unladen weight (3494 lbs) for the car, but my insurance/dmv needs a gross vehicle weight rate (gvwr). How would I estimate how much weight to add to the unladen (empty) weight?
Or if I can get a number off someones 1972 2 door B-body door tag that would help. THX

Never heard of the ins or DMV needing that for anything on a Street car. Dump truck, different story. But, FWIW My 73 Dart Sports GVWR is 4530# Its weight was 3310# So a extra 1220# Hey, Its a half ton Sportster

Do you need Documentation or just a approximation?

If just a number , state 1200#, 4 250# passengers and some luggage.
