Anyone know a good repair for a crack in the plastic gas tank. or should I just replace it. If so where to find new tank.

There's really no way to repair the plastic tanks on our trucks & nobody makes new tanks for our trucks. Im kinda hoping that LMC might change that option some day, but I won't hold my breath. All you can do is search the salvage yards or mopar swap meets, I'm sure someone on this website has one sitting around I think any 76-80 with the saddle tank will work other than it being a different size tank.

Um, yes their is a way to repair plastic gas tanks. I plastic welded mine after watching this on you tube ('76 Dodge Adventurer Sport). Holds gas fine now. I do have some pics.

I weld them & have for 30 years or so now without the first failure I use a soldering iron to do it with too!
