The 528 Cam I just bought also came with a generic sheet listing the specs of all the MP cams. It seems that all MP solid cams use the same .028/.032 lash INT/EXH.

They say to set the lash 28/32 hot with iron heads I used to go 26/30 cold and that gave 24/26 hot I like a little tighter. LSA is 106 with 104 intake centerline install better at 102 or we even ran one at 99.5 then later 101. Aluminum heads lash actually opens up .004 to .006 hot and more with Indy heads.
312 duration is 265 Duration @ .050. they never cam with a cam card as far as I know. I never got one in any Mopar Performance / Direction cam I ever got.

Could be I degreed a couple but never felt the need to check the total duration @ .050. Course if it was on one of my gear drives you have to degree by @.50 then check other ways.

I always took the Victory Library number at 265 as correct. Then several people in the racing section commented it was 272...so I checked the new one I put in that 360 back in April..and I got 271...

Mopar Muscle Magazine article last year had it at 271 also...which I thought was wrong...but nope that was correct..Actually that cam is now going to come out of that 360...lol

Yes the 590 is 271 as I wrote , the 620 is 283. The 557 is 257.
Mopar finally corrected the chart a couple years ago.

On that MP 590 cam and some others the published info is incorrect. They even put Notations after the specs stating that that the catalog info must of been incorrect.

The real duration of that cam is 271/272 depending on whos measuring. Its recommended lash, 28/32 Some tighten that up. Its recommended ICL is 104* 2* advanced. But most run it at a little more advanced then that. The range 99*ICL to 104*ICL

Ive got mine in at 101* ICL

Intake open 35* BTDC Intake close 56* ABDC

If you want it in @ the 104* ICL, then

Intake open 32* BTDC Intake closes 59* ABDC

Also that cam has a 106 LSA
