Us body source make hoods and a complete glass front end. I got my cowl hood from them and I believe I got the roll pan from summit. I"ve had up to a 33x19.5 sportsman pro on my truck with factory frame rails. I use a stock width a body axle with ladders and coil overs, if I had it to do over I would have left the springs and just went with cal tracks. You can fit plenty of tire with the stock springs in place. I run a 29.5x10.5 on a 12" wheel with tons of room now.

I built a 87 D150 with ladder bars and if I knew then what I know now I would have put a 4-link in it.. your gonna have a pretty lame weight balance on a pick up and the 4-link will help cover it up.. my truck had a decent 60' with a 1.38 but a 4-link could have got it better... you have to make up for the weight balance

With a iron headed small block and a 904, it wieghed 3400lb with me and I'm 190ish. I have not wieghed it with the 5.7 hemi that's in it now. I believe the new hemi is lighter though. I raced the truck back when I ran the small block and I can tell you the best money I spent on the suspension was a set of moroso front coil springs. We we're going 1.35 to 1.37 sixty foot times back then. Truck is just a cruiser now with the hemi, thanks for the compliments guys.

I have a rv turbo manifold that I am going to use for now, although ill have to put a t6 adapter on it. I will also just use a 8 3/4 with 3.55's for now.

on both ends(you cant have the best of both worlds)..
I tried and it was fair (at best) of either... but
I did play a bit more to the drag racing side.. and
yes I still hauled some junk in the bed

My D50 is very nose heavy and I am using stock leaf springs and caltrack bars. I have had a 1.33 60 t. so far.
1.33 60 ft,6.21 at 110.59 in the 1/8, pump gas small block,2950lbs,drag radials,mufflers and driven to track ...

It might hook.. but with a 4-link you get plenty of
adjustment to make it hook... you arent moving the IC
length on springs but you can with the 4-link.. by
the time you buy the caltrac you can build a 4-link
but you would have to build it

I have a 92 D150 that I bracket race on occasion, it only runs low 15s but hooks well in the low 2.0s, I only have the front of the stock springs clamped, a cheap set of traction bars, a pair of B-Body Rancho shocks and the rear is lowered with longer shackles. I was considering tubbing it to the frame rail for looks but , it works well with the M/T Drag radials. If I ever build the 360 magnum I have to replace the stock 5.2 I might need more. Yes Summit makes a roll pan I bought one last year and put it on , it fits nice but needed a little modification to fit. AAR / Stinger also makes a nice R/T hood for Dodge trucks, I am going to purchase one over the winter. Their quality is very good and I believe its around $600. I have one of their trunk lids on my Dart and it is very nice. U.S. Body Source does offer more glass parts also.

My caltrack bars are also home made. The only thing store bought is the rod ends for the bars. And I am running 315/60 MT Drag Radials.
And your at 2900# vs a D150... if I want it to hook
under all conditions I would just go with a 4-link...
is there anything better.. you tell me

He said it was going to be a mild setup and he can get bigger tires than I am running. I do not see why he would have any traction problems.

I flipped the rear on top the leaf springs on my truck and i have caltracs on it with rancho shocks. hooks very well and been well into the 10's on low boost. i run 30x9 hoosier radial slicks or 295/65 drag radials
i can tell you this you are shorting yourself on that s475 (75mm) turbo on a 440. mine is a .30 over 360 and could benefit from a 80-88mm turbo. That 75 mm is tiny on a 440
i have a AAR brand Fiberglass hood on my truck, and rear fenders on the bed are fiberglass. i have a mild steel 6 point bar in the truck with a small block turbo'd and the heat and a/c stuff removed. with me in it (200lbs) it weighs 3750. you should also look into 2.94-3.23 gears for it too. Turbos love the load.
please listen to people who have actual running and fast turbo stuff and not magazine mechanics
look up CW25 on here and turbomustangs.com. He had a 1980 big block turbo'd truck to help ya with turbo routing for a big block. his was a stroked 400 i think though
