I know this sounds stupid, well it is, but how do you get the center of the stainless simulator off the wheel. I bought an 04 that has simulators on it and need to remove the front wheels. I tried prying them off, but they wouldn't budge. I don't want to break them. Are they screwed on or snapped on or something else? Or am I that stupid.

Look for the 2 lug nut covers with indentations in them, loosen them. Usually 2 lugnuts covers hold them on 1 ton trucks. On a chevy you have to remove all lug nuts.

These are the hub caps that look like dog dishes and have the ram's head in them. They don't have the individual lug nuts in them. You would think they would pop off like the old dog dishes, but they are that tight that they don't move. That is why I'm wondering if they are screwed on some whay.
