Several years ago, I picked up two pairs of wiper refills for the Furies on clearance. Now, the ones on the '68 are still pretty good, but the ones on the '67 shed their edges earlier this year (probably because they were out in the sun for most of the time they were on the car, and the ones on the '68 spent a lot of time in the shade).
I really don't want to buy the modern, plastic wipers and do surgery on them to extract the blades, which is what was suggested to me one parts-store guy. I see cars at shows all the time with correct old-style wipers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

NAPA as of 5 years ago or so had a classic line that you could order in. They had the SS blade holders in that product line.
I want my fair share

I get mine at the local NAPA.
I have never had any luck with NAPA. Last time I asked for some 6 months ago they laughed at me and said they haven't had them for years. So, availability must be a regional thing. However, ANCO does sell wiper blade refills on Summit. I haven't tried them, yet.

There is a really good NAPA 10 minutes from here...bit of a drive for you, but always had great luck with them.

They've been getting harder and harder to find up here in Canada. Luckily, Canadian Tire still offers the universal, cut-to-fit refills. I've been thinking though I should probably stock up soon as I'm sure they're becoming a thing of the past. Incidentally, have you seen the cost of 7" and even 5" ROUND headlights? Up here, anywhere from $30 on up for a frickin' headlight!!! Those things used to be a fin-a-piece!

I bought 2 sets of Refills at CARQUEST a month ago. $11 a pair.I saved the packaging and it says for CARQUEST,Trico and Anco. Fit my 65 AMC and 68 Mercury. Assembled in Mexico with USA Components.
I just bought a set for my 70 Charger about 4 months ago from CarQuest....FYI CarQuest has been bought out by Advanced Auto, so the remaining CQ stores are being merged with AA.....Advanced Auto is like the Walmart of auto parts stores...crap
I know CQ was going down the tubes lately, but they did carry some goodies for old Mopars...oh well

for My Charger at least ( pin kind ) Trico keeps the classic line on production!!! they are SLIGHTLY different on the way they are built than the old ones but still classic fashion look http://www.tricoproducts.com/Drivers/WiperProducts/MoreProducts/ClassicI got really SATISFIED with them. You can get them overpriced on ebay, but once you get the PN, search by PN ( not application ) on Rockauto or similar places, or even local auto parts stores and sure will find them rightly priced refills are available too, got some sets to replace them ( being overseas, spare parts are important to be storaged )
