Mopar question. I am in process of changing the rear window panel on my 70 Coronet. The replacement panel sits about 1/8 " above the trunk lid surface, about 1/8"+ above the trunk lid surface. I'm trying to lower the rear edge of the rear window panel to get it flush with the trunk lid. The replacement panel manufacturer recommended bending or otherwise moving "down" the two flanged "U" channels that are spotwelded to the underside of the package tray. This should allow the rear window panel to be slightly lower, and bring it flush with the trunk lid.
Anyone have experience with this problem? Also, if I bend the arms down slightly, the arms will just touch the trunk spring torque rods slightly. Will they rattle? Any advice appreciated?
Thanks!
