I have 2 console shifters for 66-68 A/B body cars. I noticed the one shifter shaft is a little longer than the other. Is there anyway to tell if they are an A or B body shifter? I also have a torque shaft and linkage rod that I am unsure is an A or B body. Does anyone know the length of either so I can measure them? Thanks.

Not an expert by any means, but remember back in the day when consoles were plentiful in the boneyards that the one on the right (less bend) was more common on A and C bodies. I surmised at the time the increased shifter bend for the B body consoles may have been due to the proximity of the dash.

70 partsbook shows 2 part numbers for auto console shift levers, one for B bodies, the other for A&C bodies.
