Kiwi440 OP member Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 193 New Zealand	I have just bought a 67 charger, it has a 440 with 727 (doesnt have manual valvebody and stall is 2200)with a gear vendors od unit. I believe normal driving you set the dash switch to auto and leave the floor switch on and you will get 1-2-3 and then change into overdrive. When I take it to the track what is the best setting ? Doesnt take long to become obsessive !

500Stroker 5 Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 2,025 Bucks County, PA	Leave it off. Put it in manual mode and don't hit the foot switch. If you put it in auto it will go into OD before you shift into second or third. Once you hit 47MPH the OD kicks in.

I think it may depend on what gears, how your motor's built & stall you're running, etc. My buddy Bill (daytonakid) has a 9 second Duster that he leaves the GV engaged.
