So on advice from a friend I sent one of my hemi cam cores out to be reground locally as a copy of the comp thumpr hydraulic flat tappet.I opened up the box and they had to grind a ton on this cam the lobes are the smallest diameter I have ever seen ,is this even usuable? lift specs are 500 502 I believe and duration @50 is 228int and 241ex if i recall .....

cam looks fine. you will probably need longer pushrods though.

Thats what I think also.. its not into the base shaft
area so it hasnt reduce the strength yet.. and yes
on the push rods

Ok thanks,i was worried I couldn't or shouldn't use it....Custom pushrods are a given on a hemi anyway so no problem there..
