That Barracuda they show in the beginning is a members car I think? I can't remember the screen name but I think his son raced it.

I caught a show on TV that they did on this track. Looks like a crazy place to race. I thought I read that he passed away a few years ago but it looks like they kept the track open. http://georgerays.com/about-us/

Apparently the force of the explosion went down instead of up!?!? I serious doubt he had a trans shield or blanket.
