swifter OP enthusiast Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 301 wisconsin	What does the resister do on the wiper motor and do i need it if i have a one wire alt with internal regulator does it regulate the power to the wiper motor?? BRawls super gas B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,092	The resistor on the WW motor is not part of the ignition system or charging system at all. It's there to slow down the wiper speed.
