I'm working on a hood clearance issue. Does anyone have a part number for a filter that will fit the MP black cast aluminum air cleaner, but is only 1" thick, saw one at a car show, but the owner didn't have the part number handy. Trying to get help at auto stores is impossible. Any brand that can be cross referenced is acceptable. And thanks in advance.

isn't the max wedge 1851493 filter the shortest? napa 2070 or wix 42070.

I think I bought and used a "Ford Racing" 13" drop-base air cleaner assembly and just used the base under my MP air cleaner top. That may help and you can keep a reasonable filter size.

If you can find a parts store that still has part books, filters are listed by size. By me a Napa store had books and let me look through them.
