Still can't find my spot on the tree bottom bulb racing using the trans brake so I tried foot braking my second time trial today. I thought for sure it would slow me down a good bit so i was presently surprised it ran about the same. My light was still RED but it was a step closer to green. We shall see how eliminations go.

Trans brake vs footbrake results have a lot to do how the carb is set up.

Can you let some air out of the front tires to slow RT's?

I gotta try something but I think I need a short break from racing for a week or two. We have a divisional next week at PRP so I'll sit and do some maintenance. Front tire pressure is 42 pounds right now. At 2500 I redlight and at 1500 I'm late but still a 1.41 sixty foot with a powerglide so that's still pretty good. I got to get out of racing mode and become a test n tuner if I want this to work. Or give up and put the box back in. OLD habits are hard to break at my age.

No I bought the morosso semi-adjustable button. I think its more me than the button after what I guess would be around 20 years of top bulb racing.
