Hybrid Mopar housing ends use Timken Set 20 non-adjustable tapered roller wheel bearings.

The S-Trac looks like the same thing as the TrueTrac.
I got one for my 8-3/4 also and it works great!
Cass hooked it up also

Yes, the S-Trac is Strange Engineering's version of the True-Trac. It is available for 3-series Dana 60 and 9" gears only.

So would this option be a better way to go vs a clutch type positraction/suregrip if a person was thinking of having a new differential built??

IMO, it's better if you plan on having a handling based car. Otherwise, the clutch suregrip is perfectly acceptable.
