Stat only controls hot warm before it opens.Not the temp it runs at.A 180 should run at about 180 to 200.Most new cars run a 195 and run anywhere from 200 to 220.Thats watching actual temps with a scan tool.My 65 runs a 180 and stays around 180 to 190 on a hot day and runnign back to back at the track.Rocky

Depend on the stat.Some open sooner some later than others.My 180 hi flow seems to open about 170 or so.New cars Ive seen them open all over the place.Rocky
