An old acquaintance of mine, George Wickham, (who I now haven't seen in over 30 years) bought this car new, and raced it almost from day one. The 383 was built to the max: tunnel ram, killer heads, fenderwell headers, etc. 4 speed, 5.13 Dana. He had this thing in the very low 11's which was very fast for a 383 back in the day. By the early 80's, it was sitting with a blown up engine, collecting dust in his garage. I arranged a sale to another friend of mine, who repainted the car stock and swapped in the driveline of a 6pack car that he had totaled. (If I had a brain at the time, I whould have bought it myself) I never took a picture of it myself, and have never seen a picture of it. Now my friend Jeff (JericoGTX) has found a picture of it on the web. It's really exciting to see it after all these years! Thanks Jeff!
