Anyone know of a vendor that sells replacement front seats for a 2007 Dodge Ram? I've had my truck for 7 years and it's held together almost flawlessly. Figure I'll keep it rather than buying a new truck.

Why not save yourself a boat load of cash and just hit the local junk yards.

Why would I want to replace my worn out seats with someone elses worn out seats. I'd like a little mor comfort than what I have.

I know exactly what you're speaking of.
I have an '06 Ram 2500, and from my big a$$ sliding out of it, the cover had a hole in it, and the foam was shot.
I found a dealer that sells factory seat covers and the foam close to wholesale price on ebay. I actually purchased the wrong set, he e-mailed me asked for exact year and model, and got me the correct ones.
Do the seat foam while you're at it, it makes an unbelievable difference!
I did it myself, and it only took a few hours.
I can't find the exact sellers name at the moment, if I do, I'll let you know.

Wally.

Not all junk yard seats are worn out. I have found almost new ones there from newer trucks that are bolt ins. Dodge didn't change the interiors much in the last few years. It was a suggestion that might have saved you money. The seats in my 98 are original and still look like new. Sorry I even mentioned it.

I re-did the front driver seat several years ago. Bought the covers and seat buns from the dealer. I made the mod to the steel frame by placing three layers of vinyl over the frame to keep it from cutting into the foam when you get in and out of the truck. Took several hours to include removing the seat. I'm just looking for a firmer seat.

Don't take my comment personal, I didn't mean to sound kurt. My point is I'd rather spend the extra coin on a new seat. I've looked at used seats and some have nice cloth however no matter how you cut it the foam is not the same as new. i'm looking for a firm seat in that in the next few uyears i'll be driving between the NW and Arizona so why no be comfortable.

I was thinking of seats out of a 2013 or 2014 that had been totaled by the insurance people.

Now that's a thought. I didn't think of that. I wonder if the mounting is the same?

A good upholstery shop can copy your stock "soft" cushions and make new ones out of a denser foam. They can also wrap the springs with carpet to firm it up some. Just my .
