OK, so this should be a simple thing. My DD 1999 ram 2WD still has it's original shocks and it's time to replace them.
I like choices when replacing parts but I have now seen at least 20 different shocks, ranging in price for $14.51 to around $60 for regular replacement shocks.

Anyone have a recomendation? I was thinking the Monroe Sensa-track for about $40 each, but just staying with the "Monroe" brand specific to my truck I can get:
Monroe Matic Plus
Monroe Gas Matic
Monroe Gas Magnum
Monroe Reflex
Monroe Sensa Track

maybe I'm simply overthinking this but I dont need that many choices. My head hurts now, I better lay down!

Used Reflex on my 3/4 ton 4wd Suburban, IMHO it's a really good shock. We put moe than 100K on them, still work well. It uses the same technology as the Edelbrock IAS shocks which I believe are now gone from the market.

I used the reflex on my dakota, they seemed a bit stiffer than I remember my truck being when new. They have been on for 120k and seem fine!

I have Monroe Reflex on my 06 ram 2500 and they work well. My only issue with them is they rusted(Paint wise) after just one bad winter.

Monroe Sensa-Trac I've tried a few and by far.... those give the best ride on my '98 SST
