looking for a exploded view of a 70's tilt column my manual is a 77 so not in it yet.

can anyone help? just want to pull it down for blasting but need to know if there are any tricks other than the snap ring

IIRC there are 2 tin looking parts with springs under them.They should have a square cut in them.That and there should be a piece that takes a special puller to remove.IIRC they used GM type titls.I cant remember the year they started using them.My 83 had the GM type column.Rocky

They use a pin puller. Are you wanting to paint or rebuild?

You won't need to pull the pins to paint

I rebuild them on a regular basis & sell them
