Here's what I used on my '64:
32-11.50 x 15 on 8" rims on the back
31-10.50 x 15 on 7" rims on the front.
I know these aren't 18" rims, but it's the outside edges of the tire/rim combination that matters.
The wheels were American white spokes, you can check back spacing on them. I don't remember, except that they had minimal offset.
The rear tires have a little over 1/2" clearance on both sides. The fronts have a problem with the tire running into the pitman arm drag link when I turn to the left too sharp. I think I'd make the fronts a little narrower and use a little less backspacing if I were to do it again.
The "rubber rake" from the different tire sizes gave the truck a sporty appearance. Well, as sporty as a longbed gets, any way.
I didn't know that post '71s were also called Sweptline. Usually that refers to the '61 - '71 trucks. Or does it?
I just watched the '78 video, seems they were still called Sweptlines in '78.
