I bought a new master cylinder for my '74 RR.My
question is how do I connect the pushrod into the new master cylinder?

manual brakes?
Should be a rubber piece that fits over the end of the pushrod. It locks it into the master cylinder. They are like a buck a piece from one of the advertisers on this site.

+1 on the grommet for the pushrod. I installed the m/c into the car, the pushrod on the brake pedal, lined things up and used the pedal to pop it into place..
