ihave apulling truck that I pull in a competition street class last season the engine I had in the truck was approximately 710 hp and the engine I have in it know is approx. 810 hp both these engines in my drag truck. one engine ran 5.85 the other 5.62 in 1/8 mile with glide. since then engines put in pulling truck I have changed everything from ignition fuel system gearing and neither engine will crank above 6500 rpm occasionally will go 6700. the tranny in the pull truck is torque flight 8in convertor with low band apply valve body. my question is do u think the low band apply valve body could be holding it back or will it not make any difference. remember this stays in first gear wide open for 16 to 18 seconds

Contact John Cope at Cope Racing Transmissions. We run a LBA and didn't notice any difference in ET. It just saved us from breaking sprags due to tire shake.

No, it will not hold the engine from revving...
