Just curious, as most of the Mopars are NA, and on my bucket list is a blown combo one of these days...

Is it consistant enough for bracket racing?

I run a ProCharger blown small block. It can be consistent as a NA motor, although I have been struggling with consistency as of late, but mostly due to learning curve for me and other non-supercharged related stuff. In 2013 I ran with it and it was very consistent - 10.70, two 10.68's and a 10.67 back to back. The biggest problem I see with blower motors is that people get greedy - cause it's relatively easy to add HP.

Procharger is the way I am thinking, but 900hp is the limit...Looking at doing a crank drive F2 or F1R in the future. Although I am not sure where the radiator will go yet. Thinking of doing the split rad thing. My car already runs in the 9's on pump gas, so a stock block with a girdle is the limiting factor.

I'm running a F2 on a 440, block is half filled and has BCR alum caps & girdle. Like Crizila I too am working out the bugs.Use to run 6/71 which was pretty consistent.

Not blown but I run a turbo smallblock. Easy on parts and it runs pretty good! I've ran them all and really like the turbo. Car is quiet also compared to other combos!

T

Haven't made a full 1/4 pass, working on bad bog off the line.
It's a 446(30 over) stock stroke.

mine prints time slips even with the small tire. Its not about the combination, its about the combination if you know what I mean.

Stock block was my limiting factor also. I run it filled and with 4 bolt main caps. When I was putting the package together, consulted Steve Morris Engines, and told them I wanted to stay under 700 HP ( block limitations ), so they suggested a D1SC package. Car will run mid 10's and high 120's with a 4" blower pulley with no problem. I do have a 3.7" pulley which will up the boost from about 15 - 17 lbs to over 25 lbs. Still hesitant to go there.

it's just like anything... keep the intake/air charge/oil temp consistent and it will repeat nicely.

My Dad's 6-71 small block is pretty good, but every once in a while when the blower gets hot it'll throw you a major curve ball.

My guess is the procharger/turbo would be better. So far my Turbo stuff is pretty consistant (when I leave it alone).

It's harder to make any high HP car consistent then the low HP car though, so just keep that in mind when you set your expectations.

Bigtimes stuff is impressive, but remember he's got YEARS with the combo too... like he said... it's all in the "combination".

I personally thing the turbo stuff is easier/better to make power with, but the one HUGE disadvantage you have is it's tough to stage the car. Gotta have the spool up/tuneup right so you can build boost before the light goes green. Procharger will do it with a whack of the throttle...

Mine is a 500 inch b block with indy heads vand an 8.71. Methanol injected.

I adjust dial in for the weather and do not tune for ET. I do not touch tune up at the track, 145 to 150 mph. Car is dialable as long as the track stays tight.

Car runs from 4.78 to 4.88 dialing from slow to fast as the evening progresses.

If I wanted to slow the car down I know it would print ET slips, but not nearly as much fun.

I'm having more fun now than I have in years..

Not really a mopar, but it's got a hemi!

Fuel pump that feeds it.

451" low deck BAE hemi with a PSI screw blower making 60# of boost at 9800 RPMs.
