You're sense of style is second to none.

I particularly like the "RAM Crack" hood opening.

Whats that worth, ET wise, if I can be so bold???

Ballpark figure.

Mopar® HEMI® Challenge Race Series Approved
To: All HEMI® Challenge Participants
Subject: Mopar® HEMI Challenge for 2009

The 2009 NHRA Mopar Hemi Challenge is now scheduled. We will distribute an official press release very soon, but we are letting you know now, so you can save the dates.
There will be three events this year.
1. The Mac Tools U.S. Nationals on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2–7. The schedule will be as usual, with the final on Friday evening at the beginning of pro qualifying.
2. The HEMI Challenge series will then head to the JEGS Northern SPORTSnationals in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 25–27.
3. The third and final 2009 Challenge event will be on October 22–25 at the Maple Grove Raceway Dutch Classic in Reading, Pa.
The U.S. Nationals victor will take home a $10,000 winner’s purse. The winners of the other two events will each receive $5,000. Each HEMI Challenge race is a stand-alone event.
Thank you for your patience. We hope to see you all at the races.

I guess I'm going to the Dutch and not Michigan. Jeff and Bucky hope the two of you are going to be there.

I was going to go to the michigan race because I didn't think the dutch was going to happen. its alot cheaper to go the dutch than michigan for me atleast. I don't have a passport, can't cut through Canada to get there.

My dad went out to get us some new tires today, and Tom Bachman of comp. tire west gave him 2 free tire certs for our race, for a radial I think thats around 350.00 ea. I think the best thing to do is give one each to the finalists, instead of both to the winner. He said it was up to me, so thats what we will do.
looks like it should be a good event.

how about you treat them like a buy one get one free coupon and then give them to each semi-final loser,, then the guy might make some relations/new customers and still make money off the one tire sale.

thats why I am splitting them up to the finalists. If I gave them to the winner, no sale would be made, now 2 tires will be sold. I have an idea for you, why dont you bring something to the table instead of telling me how to do things.

CWs right. A lot of the racers are "puttin up"! The ones I know of are Bucky, Baughman, Warford, Turk, Holt, MR2. CW has also brought Jessel, some oil, gaskets, bearings and and now the tires. Jeff, maybe just a certificate for some work?

I would rather have him put up a bag of Doritos (no offense Frito) than a certificate for work.

Mike,I knew that would be coming. Believe it or not I have thought about adding something. I just couldn't put up anything worth much. Do to some health problems and my wife shattering her wrist I have not been able to travel much this year. BUTTT, maybe I will have some trinkets at Indy. I have had some of Jeffs stuff in the past, I am not trashing him by any means. I knew CW would make a remark and I was just commenting on his work into this.
CW, As you can tell by looking at me, I love Doritos, Pancho Rendon was my twin brother by a different mother.

well,, i feel this is your race that you ar eorganizing like bucky and ray do at maple grove,, i dont want to be a part of anything that has to do with you,, for obvious reasons,, and you already have enough for this race,, i feel..

maybe bales and i will get together and organize sponsors for the classic race at norwalk then try to showcase the sponsors like they should be,, and split up the prizes/pay out to more than just winner/runner up to try to attract guys that know they arent going to beat you charlie,,, without car count,, there is no show,, no show,,, no fans,, no fans,, no sponsors/support...

peace out

Hello All...

I just talked to Chris Blankenship from Chrysler Classic Events; she said that if the SS/AH guys are on the grounds Friday evening that the SS/AH guys can get a time run(s) during US131 Test and Tune.

Saturday's schedule: SS/AH Qualifying runs at 11.00 AM and 1:00 PM with elimination beginning later Saturday evening.

See you all next week
Thanks,

Don Bales
