What kind of pump is in the pics below? Is it a TRW? It was on the 273 in my cuda when I bought it. Should a '68 A body have a pump like this? Thanks! Erik

What kind of pump would be correct for a '68 small block? Federal? Saginaw? Either? I thought the TRW was 1967 and back.

I've seen both on original cars. I've seen saginaw on 3.23 340 non A/C A-body. And round top on a 273 A/C 68 Abody. Not 110% sure they were original to cars. But seen many 68 A-bodies both ways.
The saginaw, IMHO and experiance, is a better unit.

Would Thompson use the TRW brackets? I definitely have TRW mounting brackets.
