Yes I know it was never available

But here is the scoop. I have a '68 Coronet that is a factory 383 car with A/C. The original engine is long gone and I cannot get the visions of wide valvecovers out of my head.

I live is south Texas (aka the humid swamp) and consider A/C a requirement since I actually want to drive this car. My goal is to use the Bouchillion drop mount for the compressor while using as many factory components as possible for a sorta stock look.

My concern is the evaporator core fittings on the firewall and the blower motor. Unlike the later B & E cars, the evap fittings are more in the center of the firewall I'm concerned about clearance between the intake and the A/C hoses.

Does anybody have A/C and Hemi, or a least an R/B with factory A/C that can take some pics of the back of the engine and maybe measure the amount clearance between the firewall and the engine?

Thanks

Hemi and A/C work real well.
This is a 1970 Cuda I did for a customer a couple years ago.
Using the Vintage Air underdash box ( highly recomended btw) and mostly Bouchilon under hood pieces

All the A/C lines and heater hoses come thru the firewall where the original heater blower motor was. I am pretty sure the B body conversion is the same.

If it was me I would loose all the OE factory stock a/c stuff and go 100% aftermkt
