latest rumor on the street is no external oil filter mounts in super stock, only gt,, and they are actually going to enforce it,,, on ah cars,, and i think that means all ah cars,, though time will tell

word on the street is that MCHRE is fixing the silver sleds motor.

the oil filter deal has been handled. all ss cars can have remote filters.

well charlie,, i have learned alot about racing in the last year,,, i know im not where you are,, im just messing with you. when i put the thing back together i hope to be up 30 hp or so,, im just chipping away at it,, youve been doing this for 7 or 8 years ive been doing it for 1..

i didnt see comella run 156 over there at maple grove,, i know rains didnt,, i thought he was 153-154.. i had an issue that i didnt resolve where id hit 151 and driveshaft and engine speed went horizontal on the graph for the last .20 of every run. i think comella was 1 mph faster than me at the 1/8 though,, 3 at the 1/4

id give your customers 50-60 more than me,, not any more than that,,, i should pick up close to that,, i hope,, if not 30 or so

Charlie, I really want to but have a ride for the new car to La. and can send the old Death Wish car back to Holt's on return. Plus the rig (tools etc) I share will be at Belle Rose TD class. If Jim Pancake happens to go to Vegas and has room for me, I will go. Need a 270 chunk and I can drive Spyphish from Vegas to La. Ha!

PS If your not watching American Idol tonight, at 8 Central Pinks Allout Texas rerun is on Speed. My little Valiant "Torque Monsta" walks through the field of Chevy's to get in the 2 out of 3 hotlap vs Mustang. Exciting racing. I put my big TD buddy (Mike Kile)in the car to slow it down. He did a good job for never driving the car until that day. Stay warm......

lets see, go to belle rose, race for a trophy, or go to vegas get in for free, run on a schedule, no arguments, no drama, and a 10K or more purse. Its an easy decision for me.

Guys as many of you know (AH Racers) the shootouts for SS/AH's will be few and who knows where as of yet. We do know the one in Vegas is set, the final part is the payout as Phil is working on things (sponsor support) right now.
I will post asap when i find out final figures for payout.
The schedule will be as normal, qualifying on Friday, and eliminations on Saturday. Sportsman ladder and plenty of time between rounds.
As always, I'll be running the deal (plus whole event) and I think its always a great race.
Hope to see everyone in Vegas.
